Last night, current and former staff, students, families, Board of Education members, and community members gathered to celebrate the legacy of Carmen Arace Intermediate School. Together, they shared memories, laughter, and stories from more than two decades of learning, growth, and community.
From the school’s opening in 2004 through its final year as an intermediate school, CAIS has helped shape generations of students while fostering its commitment to developing good humans and driven scholars.
As Bloomfield Public Schools prepares for the 2026–2027 school year, the memories, traditions, and Tiger pride that defined CAIS will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were part of its story.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to honor this special chapter in Bloomfield Public Schools history. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger! #BloomfieldPublicSchools #CAIS #TigerPride #BuildingOurLegacyOneStudentAtATime #BloomfieldCT
